The Guide on a Palm.....

Post 1

Jedi

Like most geeks, for christmas, I was given a new toy and am attempting to personalize it as much as possible. I got a palm pilot. Thinking that I'm one step closer next year's planned release of the guide, I thought I'd surf over to the site and see if there was a text version of the guide formated for the palm. To my dismay, there was not.

Can anybody offer any insight as to why? Or is someone working on a possible export to the palm for the users who can't right away switch from their current to the new guide when it becomes available?

There was eventually a mobile-optimised version of the site, I think. Obviously in the 20 years since this question was asked (!) screens and resolution have got so much better there's no longer any need for one.

That said - when I consult Wikipedia (which is, I think, the nearest thing we're going to get to the Guide any time soon), I find my mobile device defaults to the mobile version of that, and it's usually good enough.

Just wondering where you could land a flying palm safely, as a palm pilot.
