A Conversation for Phone Book

I feel cheated...

Around here the phone books are so thin (and they include BOTH the white pages and yellow pages) that they don't make good doorstops or even good booster seats for the children. And to top that off, the newest version is printed in such small font that even the teenagers need bifocals and an extra-strong magnifying glass to read it. (Which, of course, only serves to make it even thinner and even more useless!)

And the real disaster? I've lost this year's version (thankfully I have the past ten years worth saved up) and I didn't even get to check my entry. smiley - winkeye

At least with having a thinner phone book it's easier to rip in half, giving you the athletic edge on those living in parts of the country with thicker editions.

The full phonebook is less than 3/4-inch thick.

Pop along to BT's PhoneNet and you'll never need a phonebook again: http://www.bt.com/phonenetuk/

Of course, you can't really rip an internet site in half, can you?
