I've emailed the Eds - I think someone's worried about a certain part of the Entry, and I've asked for clarification. Will keep you posted

Thanks - in the interests of being open, I'll post the emails I've sent here: "Dear Editors Could I please have some clarification as to why this content was removed? As far as I could tell the Entry was written to show the views of both sides and did not make any false claims. The Entry was in Peer Review at the time it was moderated, and nobody has notified me so far as to which part of the content has the potential to offend. I am quite serious about writing a fair and balanced Entry on the subject, so I would be grateful if you could reply to this by return. AlexAshman http://www.h2g2.com/U566116" "I have made some changes to the content of the Entry, but it has not reappeared yet - does this imply that my writing is still unsuitable for h2g2? I am currently starting to feel quite offended that I have put in all this work just to have it pulled without any form of communcation from you. AlexAshman http://www.h2g2.com/U566116" No reply as yet.

Alex, if your entry is moderated, you will normally receive an e-mail from the system telling you what's wrong with it. This will be sent to the e-mail address that you've registered in your Personal Details.
The Eds will not discuss a moderation decision on-site, only in e-mails.

All they said was that it the problem was to do with the rule about postings which:
*Break the law, or condone or encourage unlawful activity. This includes defamation and contempt of court.
I do not expect the Eds to reply on-site, which is why I have emailed them.

Personally I know a number of people who are still involved in the boycott, something about a leopard, spots, smoke and fire, therefore this is still a relevant article.
Shame that it will not be returned. Especially as details of the story can be found on the BBC news website

That article is amazingly self-righteous, consider how much money the governments of European countries are insisting that Developing countries pay them in loan repayments, and their refusal to cancel this debt.

Ironically, one of the reasons behind this Entry being pulled was to avoid conversation on the topic and on similar topics...
