Hi,
I am tracing my family Tree and would be grateful to anyone who could help me.
Some of my relatives on my father's side of the family left the South Wales ares sometime in the early twentieth century and emigrated to Saskatchewan. Two of the four were sisters (surname Paullett) and lived around the Rosetown area. The two brothers Harmon and Hubert Paullett, went to the Saskatoon area. Harmon and Hubert were given some land to farm. I know Hubert got married to a lady called Doris.
I know that when the Paulletts lived in South Wales they had a haulage firm, which is still in existance today. Thisa was sstarted befor WW1 with horses and carts. The horses were taken by the Government for the War, I belive, and they family had cows to get them through afterwards with the sale of produce.
If anyone is able to help, I would be so grateful. I lost contact with the family after my paternal grandmother's death in 1978 when I was twelve years old. Her name was Annie Maud Griffiths, and Uncle Harmon was the only person to call her Ann. Everyone else called her Maud.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
Caroline Scott.
