I found two pictures that could be used in the BBC History web pages. I don't know if you are allowed to nick them from there.
This page has a picture of Constantine, which could be used in the Founding of Constantinople entry:

Thanks very much for these Gnomon - tragically, it's very unlikely we can use those images on BBC History though. Each BBC site has its own arrangements, contracts and so on drawn up with those providing photography for their area of the site. The ones we use have to be drawn from an internal database which - though expanding all the time - is a bit limited on some subjects!
We'll keep trying though!
