Chop up a circle into an even number of pie slices, using lines through the centre only. Arrange half the slices side by side and touching, so that they are curved side down and point upwards. Now fill in the gaps between them with the rest of the pie slices, curved side upwards and point downwards. You've got a rougly rectangular figure.
As you increase the number of slices, they get thinner and thinner, and the figure approaches a rectangle with sides (circumference over 2) and (radius). QED

Now that I understand what you mean by Euclid division (division with remainder), I conclude that it does not need to be mentioned in the Entry.
