This is good stuff considering it's your first entry, but I've got a few nitpicks to make:

Novisibirsk --> Novosibirsk is the correct spelling

"After playing 3 loan Strads" --> loaned

"and after an appointment at the Musikhochschule in Saarbrucken has, since 2005, taken an appointment as visiting professor in violin at the Royal Academy of Music in London."

--> perhaps:

"and after an appointment at the Musikhochschule in Saarbrucken, he began an appointment as visiting professor in violin at the Royal Academy of Music in London in 2005."

Not much to change really - hope this helps.
