Eh, except the 33 is no longer - it is now the 337..

Either way, it is all pretty well signposted and the natives are pretty helpful smiley - winkeye

Wilma, the 33 *is* the bus that actually goes past the Wetlands, as is the 72. The 283 goes direct to the door of the place. The 337 would be great for Rich if he fancys a day out in Wandsworth or Clapham Junction.smiley - rolleyes

Don't mind me, I just live across the road from the damn placesmiley - tongueincheek

I'm not really here

Erm, disaster has struck and I'm not going to be able to make it at all now unless a miracle happens. smiley - wah

I'm really sorry Rich, as I'd said you could stay here, but I thought I'd better let you know asap that you will need to make other arrangements. If the worst comes to the worst and you can't find anywhere, you can still come here, but you'll have to find your own way.

My dog needs an operation on his leg, and can't get it until Monday, so I don't want to leave him all evening this close when he's not well. smiley - blue

I believe that is accurate. It's certainly within a hundred yards of the correct location.

At this rate, you might end up sleeping under the stairs in 2Legs' house, along with all his dirty washing, and what's this, a strange black vacuum cleaner? smiley - doh

Azara and I are booked into the Premier Travel Inn in Southwark, which is £79 a night for the room.

Ouch - that's more than my train fare! I'll consider that a last minute credit card option; I really hope I don't have to turn up and find somewhere I can afford on the day, though I know London will be expensive.

Thanks for looking, 2legs!

Look at www.expedia.co.uk They have good prices at hotels, even i London...

I stayed at one hotel near King´s X during the Summer Meet. I think it was called Arriva. Somewhat cheap, but crappy. I survived three nights... barely

It should be possible to get somewhere fairly centralish for about 40 ish quid for a single room; it won't exactly be five star, but shouldn't exactly be squalor smiley - erm cany find the name of the one we used, I thought it might have been mentioned from memory in the accomidation thread from Ruperts Bday winter meet but there was only one hotel mentioned there, as used by the Dutch and German contingancy which was the Europa hotel ... smiley - erm I wil have a think but Expedia is useually pretty good for finding hotels smiley - magic
