"...who appears to incredibly still have his newbie enthusiasm"

Life's too short, eh? smiley - biggrin

Actually, I was much more enthusiastic as a newbie, if you can believe it. In RL I'm just not a very cynical person, so it's natural to me.

By the way, you've reminded me to get to work on the History of the UG!

Actually that doesn't surprise me at all smiley - smiley

My only concern with what I'm writing here, is that this is just the beginning, and so it could become incredibly huge.

Maybe I should just stick this in the AWW and call it Part 1 or something...

Oh and have you got far at all with the UG history yet? smiley - erm

Do you think I need to say more about the Tea Boy wars here?smiley - erm

By the way would you like to be a Guignea (sp?) pig for a Chess place I'm trying to develop? You may have noticed it below this entry on my list of entries smiley - biggrin

Its quite scary how many entries I've got now. Most of them are either forgotten projects or the 168th Greatest Story in the Universe. And only 5 of them are Guide Entries. One of which I developed, on my own completely (Bookcases), one of which I developed mostly on my own, but with some major contributions towards the end (Everton Football Club) and 2 which I've only had small contributions in (Greatest Footballers and Greatest Comedians) and one which I am honoured to have a credit for, but really have made no contribution to other than to comment in the original thread about the person and that I thought it was a tragedy that he had died (Marc Vivien Foe).

Anyway, about Chess...

No, just think they're interesting smiley - smiley

You should write more guide entries. I've been trying to encourage this across my h2g2 friends and acquantinces. If you ever feel like actually writing a guide entry, I'll be happy to help.

I bet I have more entries smiley - tongueout

Oh, and Chess? I'll go look at it...

it won't while you keep it as an overview then link of to different entries for a detailed analysis of each event, then in the end create an ultimate index of the whole lot. then it won't become one incredibly huge, it will become multiple small.
