h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

There isn't actually an Edited Guide Entry about h2g2, or the Edited Guide itself...

Bit remiss really

I think someone tried that once. I have no idea who, and of course the search engine is useless for typing in 'h2g2'. I just remember that it didn't go over very well.

I love the line "h2g2 lacks an effective change control system, and this often leads to errors creeping in at this (sub-editing) stage"

Now that would make an interesting guide entry - "how h2g2 was/is seen by the outside world"

I think a Post column would be more appropriate.
