Ah the benefits of waiting to see all the teams in action.
I don't think France can score even one if they use the same system it doesn't matter how good Henry is without the service.

Golly - I got a first-scorer point. Can't pretend that happens every week.

Looks like a full house for Mr Psycorp, though.

Aww... I forgot to subscribe to the main page. Oops. Was pretty busy at the time this started - can I still do the 3 matches that haven't happened yet?

Well, at least something good came out of today then... Crap performance but qualification and a full house can't be bad.

my first idea was (5-0 lampard), but after paraguay i "reengineered". mind you (2-0 crouch) was looking just as silly for 80 minutes! the craziest FH i've ever had!
hard to understand how nobody picked gerrard and so many had... owen? GD had hargreaves but at least he was TRYING to be dopey
as for all the stick you're giving france, well you've got some nerve!

Well they've not scored at a World Cup since 1998... Then again, we hadn't scored in the second half of a World Cup match since the group stages in 1998 so France scoring two may not be that far fetched.
FF16: Round One, Game Two
Demon Drawer Posted Jun 16, 2006
Well we haven't scored in a World Cup Finals match since Brazil 1986.
Mind you we haven't conceeded one since then either. Or played one for that matter.

Well my logic for picking Hargreaves was: one, to piss you lot off; and two, he can't be that bad a player if he's an integral part of one of the most successful teams in Europe.
Of course when I picked him, I hadn't actually checked to see exactly how many goals he had scored for Bayern Munich. Had I done so, then there is a good chance that I would have gone for an alternative player. (Hargreaves: played 23 scored once)
But on the other hand, in Sven's squad, Hargreaves is the player with the greatest number of trophies to his name.

Um... I would guess that Gary Neville and Beckham both have more. Bayern don't win the Bundesliga *every* year, you know...

Maybe, maybe not. You do the count for them if you like. If it's more than Hargreaves then whats-is-face from FiveLive was feeding me duff information.
Hargreaves has eight:
1 x Champions League
1 x World Club Cup
3 x Bundesleague
2 x German Cup
1 x League Cup (I assume that that's a 'German' League cup rather than a Rumbelows one )

Yeah, they seem to have been overlooked in the quest to make Hargreaves a more attractive prospect than he at first seems. Me, I like the lad, but defensive midfielders don't tend to impress as subs. The idiots who boo Hargreaves would have booed Ince if he was only ever brought on for 10 minutes a game to replace Gazza.
