A nit to pick

So, I wandered through because this was on the "most neglected" list. What do I find but:
"We use cookies to save your registration details so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site."
It appears to me that the subject of that sentence is the plural "details". Therefore the pronoun ought to be the plural "them", not the singular "it":
"We use cookies to save your registration details so you don't have to re-enter them each time you visit our site."
Some day you may have to start charging me to prevent this sort of amateur editing...

The h2g2 community needs to nip extortion attempts, especially amateur ones like this, in the bud!
"Some day you may have to start charging me to prevent this sort of amateur editing", wrote ffmike.
Well! First of all, unless "charging" is some slang synonym for "paying" ffmike's got the financial transaction backwards!
Secondly of all: Earlier, ffmike had opined, "It appears to me that the subject of that sentence is the plural 'details'."
Well! The sentence to which ffmike appeared to be referring was:
"We use cookies to save your registration details so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site."
Clearly, as any _professional_ editor would know, the subject of that sentence is "We"!
Well! There it is! Amateurish through and through!
Hmmph.
Some day you may have to start paying me to perform this sort of professional editing.
Key: Complain about this post
