So why don't YOU write for the Guide?
Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Nov 15, 2007
No arguments here. I took a look at the xbox 360 one, thinking that I could get that in. There's so little in there that's usable, I may as well start from scratch and get a step closer to my 25 solo entries badge.

Yes, it seems more effort to rescue one than to just write your own. All the facts have to be checked anyway.

And who writes an entry on Walls!! apart from a builder maybe and I thought my How to Knit a Pair of Socks smacked a little of 'lifeless'

Thanks for the hint!
Maybe I'll just wait for it to be finished so I can quote it, I was considering writing about the "urhütte" or primeval hut, architecture's chicken-or-egg question

Speaking of, I just realised I'll have all the material for an entry in January, I'm supposed to be writing a paper on Buckminster Fuller, I bet it can be pared down for an entry
It's on the beautiful topic of why Buckminster Fuller's theoretical work didn't have more impact, and the answer seems to be: because the man couldn't write

Well with that one too.
That's the beauty of the Guide I think .... not all entries are appealing to all of the people, but some people will be desperate to about whatever you chose to write about. Buckminster Fuller will probably be way over my head, but I'll read it when it appears and maybe learn something.

Yes, good thing we're such a diverse lot.
I wouldn't know where to even begin researching for most of the Flea Market entries - and many of them don't particularly interest me. Anything about TV programmes, for example

Well, tv programmes wouldn't float my boat either .... except when I'm looking for something about a programme - then I like to be able to look it up.
