just been to see Tommy Emmanuel & Andy Mckee at the Sage in Gateshead.

What a combination !
perfect venue - excellent acoustic
T.E. not only one of the very best exponents of his art but a showman to boot.
Andy ( "discovered" on youtube) such a talented guy - composer too -
a quiet, intense, guitarist - the 'harp guitar' with his use of bass drone


all in all one of my 'life milestones'

Tommy asked "any guitarists out there ?"
"not any more" came the reply !




I thought we may have a guitar bonfire in the car park later -

Bought a new 'all-in-one' printer recently
it's ok - except there was no USB printer cable included !
A standard USB/USB cable was no good as it had a special, deep connection at the printer end.
so - it did not work 'out-of-the-box'



However to save money on print paper I have just discovered that I can get excellent (draft stuff) results on lined A4 pad paper - wish I'd thought of it before !
