Aw, thanks for asking.
It was great fun. We went out to Stratford Upon Avon for a few hours. Didn't go around the Shakespeare stuff (we'll leave that till Samuel's old enough to have half an idea what's happening) but we did have lunch in 'The Food of Love' across the street from Shakespeare's birthplace. We like it in there, and the food is good too. They've renovated recently, and it's a lot plusher than it was.
The plan was to go down to the river, and have a ride on A boat, but the boats weren't running. I guess it's not profitable to run them mid-week yet. It will be in the height of summer, I'm sure. Ended up roaming around the towm for a bit, and bought a few odds and ends.
In the evening we went out to a pasta and pizza place in Harbourne. Zizzi, it's called. They've got a website - http://www.zizzi.com/ That's a nice place too. Considerably more expensive than Food of Love, but very nice.

sounds like a perfect day out. I adore Italian food but unfortunately it dosnt adore me..
We went to the Dukes Head in Copthorne for Sunday Lunch with the children. Very nice it was too!
I have different issues with my 3 children now. Mike will be 18 in September and we are looking at Universitys for next September. He is considering teaching and also ATC (my sister is an ATC and he did his work experience with her at Gatwick) My mum was a teacher so either way he will have someone to talk over the possibilitys.
Matthew is 14 and a hard working lad, I dont have concerns about him so mich as the eldest. Depsite being dyspraxic and dyslexic he has amazed everyone, including his teachers with his perserverance to do well at school. He is the star pupil in ICT and has plans on becoming a game designer for Microsoft..years ago I would have called it a pipe dream but he is so dedicated..who knows what the future holds. He is lucky enough to have a charming personality and sense of humour so should find he gets accepted in what ever area he chooses.
Sophie at 12 is more of a worry. She is a hard worker but gets easily upset and frustrated....she has just been diagnosed as dyslexic but not with words but numbers..dyscalclia I think. She is a lovely little girl though and will hopefully perservere like her brother.
