Lives in Hope
***********
Happy school,
Flamboyant days;
Sportive hours,
All fade into belly.
Dry throat cry for food,
Scorching hearts long for change;
Strength searches work.
No work, no pay;
No food, no peace.
Deep mothers are waiting,
Waiting for light.
Every sun bears the darkness of hope,
Hope of the day,
Hope of the night;
The very hope of the lives,
Kids are born, they don't come.
Happy school,
Flamboyant days;
Sportive hours are now dream,
Dream in East Africa,
The real truth of humanity;
The daughter of climate change.
Feed them,
Feed your heart.
