Total suspension of disbelief is pretty good advice. . .if you can follow it. If you cannot, here's an alternate strategy for getting milage out of The Blair Witch: Going into the movie with a headful of "scariest movie ever made" hype can set you up for a bit of disappointment. Even though by the time the movie is over, there is plenty to creep you out, *A LOT* of the movie is just a bunch of people shooting the s**t in well lit conditions. All this well lit s**t shooting is very interesting, however. The characters are pretty
likeable, and the interactions and group dynamics (mostly ad libbed, I
understand) I found to be realistic and interesting. My advice is: delete from your expectation file "scariest movie ever made" and insert "very interesting movie, that happens to have a few very scary parts" and you can't go wrong.

Very good Pete. You did in two paragraphs what took me a whole page. LOL! Thanks. smiley - smiley

Don't expect the greatest film of all time. Go expecting to be entertained, and you may very well leave thinking, while not the greatest movie of all time, it certaintly belongs in the top two hundred and fifty. Personally I think it's at least the eighty-fourth best movie of all time. Night of the Living Dead beats Blair Witch, but just barely.
