OK so here's the info. East Midlands Picnic will take place on Saturday September 4th at Victoria Park, Leicester. I'm working on getting a map posted but basically it just across from the train station. If you're coming by car, there is a car park beside the park (although probably busy on a Saturday) and follow signs for the train station and/ or De Montfort Hall. Also, I think there is a park and ride just of the M1 at Leicester Forest East.

There are at least three pubs beside the park so I guess that means we'll be spoiled for choice.

Children will be welcome too as there is no way I'm leaving mine at home on his own!

I was thinking of meeting at around 2pm. Bring your own food.

I will be waiting at the main entrance to the park, beside the carpark and I'll probably have a child strapped to my back which should make it easier to spot me. I'll hang around for half an hour or so. If people tell me what time they are likely to show up, I'll check for you at that time.
