Why attract people to dunking me?!
Though it is nice to be mentioned in the editorial
Y'know this is the first time in months I've not lurked on a Wednesday. Just when I had some time, the West Wing came on

the new smiley is one of my favorites by the way!
I rank it third behind and
We have the best smileys...

I noticed a distinct trend though - the italics made smileys that would be useful when we bid them farewell
or even !
I could make a good conspiracy theory out of this if I wanted to

Ahhhh... y'see, I was considering writing a Post article introducing the new smileys, so a conspiracy theory was quite interesting!

Well here it is, for my own personal amusement-
One day, one of the italics realized that researchers didn't have enough complimentary smileys to make themselves seem grateful for the hard work of the smileys. This of course gave birth to the and smileys. Soon they realized that they had to have things to say in return to the researchers, such as and . However, when they realized that it was going to be their last day, some of the italics could do and say whatever they wanted. Thus and were born.
Additional smiley explanations-
- a reference to the fact that italics are turning a new chapter on h2g2
- the lines coming from the smiley are transmitting the smiler's personal details
- Because there isn't enough cider on h2g2!
So there you have it a scheme to manipulate h2g2 smileys from the inside If you ever need a scandal or conspiracy theory about any little thing- I'm your man
Anyway, I think a post article would be a great idea I always like news about h2g2 to complement the post features
Key: Complain about this post
