I've been meaning to start contributing to the guide for some time now - and starting with a topic in which I am well and truly immersed (Australian intervarsity choirs) seems like a very good place to start.
I would see this introduction to AICSA to be the beginning of a series of articles about AICSA choirs, the Australian intervarsity choral movement and other topics related to the activities of said organisations.

Are these choruses private entities, or are they funded by student unions or universities? Is there such a category as 'not-for-profit' in Australia? How much of an honor would it be, to be on the committee?
Your Choral Ghettoes article doesn't stand on its own. I didn't understand it until I read this article. There is some membership overlap between different special-purpose choruses here in Los Angeles, but living and social arrangements don't seem to mix in the way you are implying. Perhaps it could be added to this article, or perhaps it could be expanded with examples of what you mean or included with another of your intended articles.

The choirs are non-profit, non-auditioning organisations, usually affiliated to their local university student union / clubs & societies administration.
There is some level of funding of choirs (this varies from university to university, choir to choir) but most fundraising is gained through concerts and special fundraising activities such as christmas carolling.
I suspect you're right about the choral-ghetto concept not standing on it's own - but then it's not entirely tied into a choir, and it's certianly not AICSA-choir specific - perhaps the choral-ghetto article should be fleshed out a tad as you suggest.

The first header should be removed, as the title forms the first header. If it's left in it only makes more work for the subs!

What do we reckon? Brad, are you happy for this to go in yet? Do you still want to flesh it out some more?

Which poses an interesting question. Do we move this out of PR by the Elivising route, or take Brad's silence as agreement and say it's ready for the Guide?

I think we push this decision over to the Eds. I've got a couple of picks to make this month, so I'll use one of them on this one and see what they have to say
Congratulations - Your Entry has been Picked for the Edited Guide!

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Hiya Brad welcome back
Whilst you were away this entry of yours got selected for inclusion in the Guide. I'm not sure quite how far through the editing process it is, but one day soonish it will appear on the site's Front Page.
Congratulations - Your Entry has been Picked for the Edited Guide!

Yep, I did see those notifications, just been rather too snowed under to be logging in and doing the guide thing... Will get around to looking at the comments on my other articles in the near future.
