A Conversation for The Ten Commandments in Schools: A Persuasive Speech
Origins of the Ten Commandments

What is usually "overlooked" in schools is the striking similarity between the Ten Commandments and some of the statements written in the ancient Egyptian "Book of the Dead", which preceded the Ten Commandments by centuries. Schoolkids are taught that the Ten Commandments were original, written by God. They were not.
Moses, before the Exodus, held a high rank in the Egyptian court, and would have been familiar with the Egyptian religion and religious practices. Also the fact that the Commandments were "handed" to Moses after he had spent 40 days and nights on Mount Sinai. There are too many dubious aspects about this case for me I'm afraid.
