You're almost right. I found my Swedish wife when I was 56. I'll get her to comment on your entry.

Why thank you, I'm honoured! It's not very serious in some parts, I'm thinking of editing it later.

I accept your guide as a not entirely serious, it reminded me of my time in Sweden. The funniest thing is when I read the Swedish in your guide to my wife, and she laughed at my pronunciation. We lived in Sweden for 4 months before coming to Turkey (Turkiet to you). I did not learn much Swedish apart from the numbers up to 1000, as we spent a lot of time at auctions!
Here in Turkey we need to know much bigger numbers as 1 SEK is worth about 200,000 Turkish Lira. So drinks, car parking is in the millions, meals out in the tens of millions, buying furniture in the hundreds of millions, getting work done on the house billions and big houses in the trillions! I learnt all these numbers but struggled with the rest because Turkish is an Altaic language and unrelated to any European language.

I appreciate your comments! I know, these pronounciation examples are very rough, and mostly they sound very funny to a real Swede, but the phonems and diphtongs are so unique, so it's hard to explain it in words. Keep ypur eyes peeled for a new Swedish course I'm planning to write this summer!
