Should we elect a Guardian of The Forum?

>> What are these unspoken rules - specifically?
My assumption, and it is an assumption, is that the rules for the Forum are the standard ts and cs of the site, supplemented by the text of the page on the Forum.
>> How do we know when they are broken?
Um. Same as how we know when the ts and cs have been broken - by reading them, and comparing them with what has been written.
>> Who is the arbiter of the nuances of the rules?
We all are - obviously. Z's question was whether the Forum needs more than standard hootizenship from everyone who uses it, or whether it would benefit from a little extra tender loving care from a specific individual.
Zoomer, I think you are being over complex, and jumping at shadows.

*jumping at shadows*
My apologies if it seems that way, I've just found that recently some of the community have been *jumping* on my infringements of rules I hadn't known existed.
