Not only that but you've also started posting links - catching, innit?
I notice the ridiculous term 'promote homosexuality' being used again. How the hell can you 'promote' homosexuality? Homophobes seem to like using this phrase a lot. Do you ever wonder what they're *really* afraid of? I think a large part of the time it's themselves.
The lady doth protest too much, methinks. . .

And don't forget to read the gay memos- topics include things such as "how to embarrass straight people" and "matching your hair to your shoes."

And then there's the reading/film/TV list.
Before you get to the fun bedroom stuff you have to be fully au fait with 'Queer as Folk' 'The Wizard of Oz' and 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' and to be able to discuss them from a post modern point of view.

There's an Anthony Burgess novel, 'The Wanting Seed', set in a dystopian near-future; overpopulation is a problem, so the government of the day does, in fact, promote homosexuality. They have a nifty slogan... 'It's Sapiens to be Homo!'
In the real world, however, I have yet to see any case in which homosexuality is promoted. I really cannot understand what people mean by the expression.

"The researchers emphasise that the numbers taking the drugs were small and that a larger study should be undertaken."
Hmm. If the numbers on which the data are based are statistically insignificant, then drawing any conclusion is not only rash, but downright stupid. You cannot suggest a trend on minimal data.
The suggested link says far more about the researchers than the research will ever say about homosexuality.

Yeah why aren't they out inventing some drug to make people more attractive?
Hmm, thinking about it, if they did that all the rich people would be more attractive , but then over centuries they'd inbreed and become revolting and diseased. Or the drug would become cheap.

Yeah, some people should get their priorities in order. When you think of all the really important things that the money could be spent on... Things like this: http://www.cbc.ca/story/science/national/2004/12/23/grey-hair041223.html

Well, that will help with making more people attractive...
Know who's attractive? Gay people... spread that around, maybe it will promote homosexuality...
*cheesy announcer voice* Be Gay, Then You TOO Can Be Attractive To Members of the Opposite Sex!!

Nice one, kelli.
Of course, this tends to only work until the next morning. So perhaps what is needed is another sort of 'morning after' pill?

There was something depressingly familiar about it I suppose - something about the pathologising of women.

That's very similar to a story I head on the radio... in Texas, there is a small school which every year had a "Turnaround Day" in which the boys dressed as girls and the girls dressed as boys. It was kind of their pre-requisite to their Sadie-Hawkins-Like dance, where the girls asked the boys. A woman sued the school for "suggesting" that her sons dress like girls because she said that it would make them gay.
People are so stupid it hurts...

"Some parents and parishioners have accused the Roman Catholic diocese in Orange County of violating church doctrine by allowing a gay couple to enroll their children in a church school."
""The boys are being used as pawns by these men to further their agenda," said Monica Sii, who has four children at the school."
