Well his mother a father were both Jedi..His mother trained Jotra. His father was a sociopath who built his own army on Kamino..They're both dead I believe. However this army, it may be his fathers, or wat's left of it.

Especially as my use of the force is still fairly limited, I can't use my magic and my jedi powers are still fairly weak. Running may be our best hope
