*everything looks normal*

*spots an imprint in the sand and cautiously head out to check*

*the desert is clear but the footprints stop three metres from the hut entrance clearly pointing toward the homestead*

*the rest of the sand is flat*

*on a whim, places a foot into one of the imprints to make a comparison*

*apart from twenty or footsteps, the wind has caused the sand to cover any trail*

*The footprint is the right size but irregular*

Strange...

*turns and heads back into the hut*

*the print much deeper than Annat can make*

*a pan clatters from inside the hut*

*activates lightsaber and steps into the hut, scanning for any intruders*

*pan rolls to underneath the torch which goes out*

*stands still, the lightsaber barely illuminating the interior of the hut*

You're here... Aren't you?

*everything is quiet 'cept the hum of Annat's saber*

*de-activates the 'saber and goes to relight the torch*

*stove creaks with a slow metallic noise*

*lights the torch and spins to face the noise*

*a red blade suddenly slashes through the wall followed by a heavily cloaked exploding through the exterior*


*He lands on the stove with a light foot and it creaks upwards to meet him, metal bending*

*the cloaked face peers down then looks up at Annat, face completely unseen and makes an smug short, deep laugh*

*brings up his lightsaber and activates the blade before stepping back into a defensive stance*

So you're the one who's been stalking me through the Force... Who sent you darksider?

*Figure straightens and the stove whines under the weight*

*strafes to the right, trying to make the intruder reveal his face as his head twists to follow*

*the black shadow under the cloak follows Annat as his body remains still*

*there is still no face seen*
