How exactly does one 'select the dimensions'?

There is only one size, all the pictures are 400 pixels wide. You will need to play with the wallpaper settings on your machine to place the picture centrally and set the rest of the desktop to black.

You've fixed the instructions. But only for Windows, not for Mac.

I'll try to sort out some Mac instructions tomorrow but a Mac user is almost by definition someone who doesn't need instructions .

I thought that might be the explanation!
I haven't really looked to see if the instructions are good apart from this (as I as an average Mac user don't need it), but if they are, it's just to remove the first paragraph in each section.

Did you read the bit in 'the salmon of doubt' about DNA's run in with a very expensive camera he was trialing, that he didn't bother to read the instructions for (being a Mac User!) and how none of the photos he took came out.

The instructions I supplied are only for MacOS 8 and 9. We're trying to sort out something for OSX (where X = 10). I think OS 7 users will have to stick the picture on a black background in a graphics program so that it fits their screen size.
