I'm the sort of person that doesn't believe in curses, and really couldn't care what pseudo-religion you're using as an excuse to understand the human psyche.

I've decided I'm not listening, because I don't care what you think.I came to terms with people and their...feelings about my beliefs.

"Witch can be considered to be on the same level as calling a person of African decent by the "N" word. Some hate it, consider it to be a form of branding and opression. Others take a certain strength from it. It is a matter of personal preference."
People have actually written that? In all seriousness? Will the average IQ of the human race increase slightly when they fall into their own cauldron?
I think the answer to the last question is a resounding "yes".

I aim to please,
I was refering to the fact that most of the arguments against wiccan have more grounding in reality than the ones for it and the people trying to argue back seem like moody teens having a temper tantrum at the intelectual leval of a six year old... possably younger

Yeah, I'd noticed that.
Then again, I'll never get any religion so I'm probably biased.

*adopts strict teacher voice.*Ok the bottom line is that everyone's going to have different opinions in life etc etc.. and conversations like this might insult people but they'll never change that. What they CAN do however is escalate and get the Acadamy shut down.*Frowns pointedly at offenders.*
So let's calm down and talk about something else.
*Sits down on the floor to make a daisy chain.*

Yeah. It's ok to hold religious beliefs, but not ok to hold the belief that based on all available evidence since time began, religion is used by nutters to make life miserable for the masses. That's the pattern I'm seeing, and I'm not happy with it.
See that? That's an opinion. I'm as entitled to having that opinion as anyone else is to believe that the Universe was created 1000 years after the Babylonians first invented curry or that a woman not wrapped in 18 feet of cotton should be beaten until she obeys.
Or am I not entitled to an opinion because I don't believe in a god?

No that's not what I meant. Of course you're entitle to an opinion, and entitle to voice that opinion aswell. It just seemed that it was getting past voicing an opinion and becoming an argument. Then people get offended and the whole thing escalates out of control.
Instead I seem to have done the offending. it has nothing to do with you not beliving in a God, or holding an unvalid opinion.
I just thought it was time to move on.
Sorry for any offence caused.
