Seems a lot like that episode of Blackadder the Third where Mr. B. is putting words into his sentences that don't exist just to appear intellectually superior to Dr. Johnson, the writer of the dictionary...

Hey, I'm done. If he wants to believe he's a pioneer of a brave new language that's fine. I've said my piece, if he doesn't want to take it on board I'm not going to break into his house and change the spellings of every file on his computer.
