A Conversation for Obsolete Computers (a guide to keeping computers useful)

I abhor waste. I believe there are schemes that ship obsolete computers to developing countries: I myself was able to learn so much from a battered old 486 given to me by a friend, I have never looked back. Also I find it useful to keep spare parts, things like screws and so on. When you think that in the fifties a computer took up a whole room, how can we think of throwing these microchip mini -miracles away?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
