I, too, mourn the morons that have seen fit to ban the Duck. I used to relish 4 or 5 as a starter and even had the delight of enjoying a BD curry - main ingredients 1 part Bombay Duck, 1/3 chilli and the rest onion. It was brilliant and only took me 3 days to recover! Interestingly, (if you are interested in that sort of thing) you can still buy other dried fish in Chinese supermarkets, so why pick on the poor BD?? Anyone interested in a bring back the Duck campaign? This is the thin end of the wedge. They'll be after my pickled sqid next!!
