I cannot stand listening to people rant. It starts out with something simple that they get annoyed about, then it BALLOONS out into a whole big shout about the problems of life, the universe, and everything! It's just unbearable! And when you try to walk away, they get mad at you for not listening! And they go on, and on, and on, until the end of time--

Isn't your entire post a contradition? You're in the one minute rant section ranting about how much you hate people ranting.
I'm sure you're a very nice person, I just thought I'd point it out to you coz I think you just started a rant.
