The thing that annoys me most about by female counterparts at this age (consider that we are all British) is when they think it cool to imitate the kind of characters you get in american teen flicks. This really gets me wound up. Also when they combine this with petty bitching "Have you seen what shes wearing today".

You mean people actually *want* to be like that? Why?? Yuck. Luckily most girls in America don't actually act like that, unless you go to certain places.

I'm *so* sorry you have to deal with that. *hugs*?

Same thing happens here (Australia) quite a bit. They even try with the American accents sometimes. smiley - grr

Hello

Yup seen it before. Either they are normally like that(I doubt it!) or just trying to act "cool" I don't know. It sounds funny though because the classic image of such a b*tchy person has a stuck up voice but here on the Rock they have a Newfoundland accent.

Do you know what they call them? Theyve got a name probably. And a stereotype.
I hate the fly things that make my head hurt.

Ummm... preps? Airheads? Idiots? Oh wait, that last one's just what I call them... uhm...

Actually it depends on which flavor they pick to imitate. They are pretty much the same, true, but they try to be different things. Some try to be cool, some strive to be popular, some pretend to be punk (ugh, can we say Avril Lavigne?), etc. It's all rather annoying. Luckily I went to a pretty ghetto high school, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

'In'sane probably. I mean look at them. Joggers should only be worn at the gym for crying out loud. And only then in rare cases.

Ugh... My little sister has that...
It really gets me wound up.
Do you suppose it's international?
So far you've said it happens in Britain, Australia, and I would like to add Norway to that list....

You think it is difficult listening to that when it is only on the telly, and you have a few girls trying it now and then, try living next door to the buggers!

For Britain should we say Wales and Engeland coz Ive never seen them in Ireland when Ive been. I know they're in America as well 'coz Ive read about it.
