A Conversation for Talking Point: One Minute Rants

Sachets. I cannot describe how much I despise these slippery little pockets of inefficientness. I suppose their main raison d'etre is to transport small quantities of suace, vinegar, and various other condiments. This I concede they do but at what a price! They are fiddly beyond believe and one invariably finds oneself opening them with one's teeth and receiving a mouthful of the, generally second rate, contents.
If you manage to open one and wish to try to extract what little may be left then the downward squeezing action that must be used makes sure that your hands get so covered in the contents that, not only do you have less of the sauce to flavour your food with, it makes your hand so slippery that opening the next one (which you will of course need as they never contain enough, especially as most of it is already in your mouth or all over your hands)is neigh on impossible. This leads to opening the next one with your mouth and starting off the whole ugly cycle once again.
As this is only a one minute rant then I shall leave their shere wastefulness and the money grabbing motivation for their existence for some other time.
