How on earth do people like this? Watching other people do nothing cannot, surely, be fun TV? And as for people who think it's the best programme since .. er, the last best programme - well!

If Iw anted to watch bored people sitting around drinking and farting I can visit any number of my own friends. I don't want to watch it on my TV! I pay my TV licence to watch trained and (hopefully) talented proffesionals, not something I can see in a pub any day of the week. I agree!

it would be better if they were exciting. but they're not.
or better still if they only THOUGHT they had cameras on them, and they didn't. that would save us hours in programming in which we could watch re-runs of twin peaks, van der valk, m*a*s*h*, out of this world, etc...

I also thing big brother is completely boring, I mean who likes to see people chasing chickens or cooking dinner, if you want something good to watch, watch MTV, althpough the ads get annoying, and furthermore if you dont like big brother dont watch it, read a Douglas Adams book!

Trouble is is that it takes up so much airtime that could be used for something rather more edifying. It obviosuly takes it's idea from Sartre's 'Vicious Circle', where Hell is 'other people', but quite why the saved (i.e. us) have to suffer as well is beyond me.

perhaps we're in hell.
perhaps we're all being watched by someone else.
