Heworth, Gateshead, England.

Heworth is a little leafy suburb of Gateshead, south of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Situated just east of Felling on the Gateshead/Sunderland border, Heworth is famous for it's pubs and a rather nice church with a rather scary graveyard. Oh, and the Metro station - very handy for getting about Tyneside, and visiting other areas to get drunk in.
Things to do in Heworth when you're bored
To be fair, there's little to do here other than drink. The main 3 pubs worth bothering with are The Swan, a small hostelry situated opposite Heworth Metro. The Maiden Over is situated on the opposite side of the Felling By-Pass, and The Ship lives further up High Heworth Lane. Heworth Grange School is an underrrated comprehensive school, and the Felling By-pass is a monster of a road, built in the 50's to allievate traffic congestion but has only served to contribute pollution, death, and noise to the otherwise placid Heworth vibe.
