I stumbled upon this by accident, but in many ways I'm glad I did. I wish I had words that could be useful I wish I'd be able to empathise better than I do. What I can say is that your words have touched me deeply. You might find this patronising, id hope not because it is said sincerely, you are a very brave young woman for having experienced what you have and having the courage to tell your story.

What were you looking for when you came across this? I'm glad it touched you. It helps me alot when people respond to it, sort of a way of coming to terms with it. Its hard when the people around me avoid it incase it upsets me... im a little better now, though i still cry and everything is not peachy for me. For example, i feel terrible alot of the time coz i cant bring myself to give my boy what he wants and sleep with him. He's patient, but... i feel bad about it...

I wasnt really looking for anything particular, just browsing through some of my friends threads and I came across you. Emotions arent like switches, i should know, you cant be instantly fine again and no one should expect you to be. In regards to your boy, if he cares as much as you have made him out to, then he will wait and you shouldnt feel guilty about having to wait till you feel comfortable not only with yourself but with the idea of being intimate with the one you love. It took me 11 months to finally be intimate with my first gf simply bacause we had never had another half before and we were not yet comfortable with the idea of being so vulnerable, patience was needed on both parts but when it came it was wonderful simply because we had waited till we were comfortable.

I reckon my boy will wait for me to be happy with it, but im still a little scared of what he thinks now its over He's not the best person with words, and for all i know, he could just not have dumped me becasue it would be a really bad time... i mean, he says im wrong but it doesnt stop the worry...

Fear is natural, but it makes things so much better when you realise you are wrong to be thinking what ou are (does that make sense?) im constantly paranoid with my gf cause of how my ex screwed me over I know i shouldnt be but I cant help it.

Does you're gf know you're worried? There's some girls in this world who give us a bad name, (same goes fro blokes i suppose) but i promise, most girls are great and arent out to screw the world for all thay can get... what happened with you're ex?

my fave bands are... let me see. its changed from the ones on my space, but bascaly, 3 doors down are my favourtie. They're great. And Placebo, Skunk Ananasie, Tom McRae, Michelle Branch, InMe... it varies alot. Older stuff then Planxty and Sleeper... does that enlighten you?
