A Conversation for Dr. Funderlik's Regular Grunt

It was when you mentioned flagpoles that did it. Odd how these flashes of inspiration happen.
You see, if you go to the Archives of the Hootoo Home of Today and look at Part 6 A1037378, you will see that there is some distinctly dodgy business going on at the gymkhana involving glistening poles.
Then again, could it have been one of those bob-a-job boys? If it was tent-poles, not flagpoles, this weeks moving saga to be found at A1104823 could provide a clue.

Now, if they gave that to the ponies, then the gymkahna would get pretty interesting, I reckon.
I enjoyed reading these. Nice and subversive - that's the kind of thing I like
Good luck with the move - either real or fictional - I've moved a bit in my time too. Currently in Romania. What's with the "dear old Ireland"? You familiar with the place then? I'm going there for a month next week.

Greetings, funny grunt. for the kind words.
Yep, the move is real, but where to remains distinctly up in the air. Several considerations; mainly financial but also ic. If you see what I mean.
Romania sounds interesting; probably plenty of scope for a bit of sly subversion there.
"Dear old Ireland" refers to my father, a shadowy figure at the best of times, distinctly so now he's dead; doesnt't make doing an Alex Haley any easier!
Funny old place this world isn't it?
squeak soon,
