Hmmm I don't think that's quite going to work Wilma
Hi aceblack
click this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/test10809894
Then click anywhere inside the 'Textbox'
Then follow Wilma's advice
Press 'Ctrl' (usually at the bottom left of keyboard) and A together - that will high-light all the text.
Then you can use the short-cuts Wilma suggested
Press 'C' on your keyboard
Goto your PS open another Entry, click anywhere inside the 'Textbox'
Press V on your keyboard
That should paste the text
One more thing to do
Delete anything between the < > s
Then click 'Add Entry' (or similar)
Hope I've got that all correct

Aceblack.. ~~
If you pick up the People In The Sky from your message centre, where I left it, it is already in your format.
Cut and paste it into a new Guide Entry page.. scroll down and change it to Guide ML and you will be ready to make any changes you need..
You will also have to submit it back into PR as it will be under another A number.
lil xx

Um, that looks awfully complicated.
aceblack, I'll show you how I would do it, then you can decide which is preferable for you, and easier to remember!
I'll copy lil's posting above mine.
<>
How I did that:
Click in front of the text you want to copy.
Hold down the left-button on your mouse and drag it across all the text you want to copy.
It should be highlighted.
Then click the right-button on your mouse on the highlighted text.
A box will open up.
Click on the word "Copy" with your left button on the mouse.
When you have made a new article, right-click the mouse and another box will open.
Click on "Paste" with your left-mouse button.
Then save the changes.

My suggestion is not at all complicated, in fact, it is the easiest way for someone who is inexperienced with computers and curser control. Anyone can press buttons on a keyboard, but not everyone has curser control required for accuratley highlighting text. I, and I'm sure most here can use their curser to highlight just one or two letters, that takes practise and experience.
Also, GuideML is not essential for PR Entries. Aceblack, if you're not confident with GuideML, don't worry about it, concentrate on the content of the Entry.

I was only offering aceblack another option to try.
It looks complicated to *me* because I never heard of that way, I learned how to do it the way I described.
There was no-one more noviced/inexperienced with computers and curser control than me when I joined this site.

Maybe it looks complicated because it's in a long post, due to it being spread out a,b,c style.
Personally, I don't use the Ctrl & 'C' or the Ctrl & V (which I learnt about on 'Computer's Don't Bite' course, a few years ago) and if Wilma hadn't suggested using them, I probably wouldn't have thought of suggesting them. The Ctrl & A, I use a lot, and find it very useful, but the way Wilma seemed to suggest would highlight the whole page, not just the contents of the Entry.

Aceblack, if you write to us at h2g2.support at the bbc.co.uk email address, we could transfer ownership of this entry to your new account, if that helps.
You'll need to email us with the new user number of your account, and the A-number of the entry, but from there it's an easy job.
