This is my first researched article. I welcome corrections, critiques, comments. Also I am planning an additional article to highlight historical datas, symbolic connections etc. Also upon exeptence I'd like to add a graphic design of the White Stag which is not under copyright. Thank you. Gecko

Hi, you've certainly got the euphaism! but you do need to get more of a guide to what edited guide articles are like have a read of the writing guidelines --> A53209 Also perhaps, have a read of some edited guide articles. Do stick at it, we need more keen new writers!

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Jun 3, 2003
That's a very interesting read Researcher gecko, but it doesn't meet the Writing-Guidelines for Peer Review entries. It might however do real well in the Alternative Writing Workshop - Writing-Alternative
To submit it there you'll first have to remove it from PR by clicking on this link PeerReview and finding your entry in the list. You'll see either an 'x' or the word 'remove' next to it - click there and your entry will be taken out of this forum, and you should find the 'Submit' button back on the entry. Just go through the same process you went through before but choose Alternative Writing Workshop from the menu

Zarquon's Singing Fish! Posted Jun 8, 2003
Hi Gecko,
If your entry is about a real legend (and I think it is, from what you say), then this entry *could* meet the Writing-Guidelines, if you make some amendments. It could be a nice entry. It needs work to meet the guidelines.
You would have to take out the first person reference (everything starting 'I').
If you want the entry to be part of the Edited Guide, then it would be worth putting some work into it.
If you need any help, then please feel free to ask for it.

Hathornefer (ACE) Near miss - isnt that what you'd call a hit Posted Jun 8, 2003
Hi Gecko
I am aware your first language isnt english, and although most people who speek english as a second language speek it better than the english.... if you are finding you are hitting difficulties getting the article to comply with the writing guidelines then I am sure that there are people around who are willing to give a hand.
My english is awful (I'm a londoner it would be) but if you need a hand I'm here should you want it

Ausnahmsweise, wie üblich (Consistently inconsistent) Posted Jun 9, 2003
Jo napot kivanok!
I think the legend itself would make a nice short entry. I didn't know the hunt started in the Himalayas. We thought it was in the Ural mountains or somewhere closer to what is now Hungary. It seems most children growing up in Hungary hear this story in school.
(I'm trying to learn the poem about the black (fekete tehenek) and white cows and Mehemed!) Do you know that one?
