Dr Deckchair Funderlik Started conversation May 22, 2003
I can see the headlines now:
"Dr. Funderlik. Well, he kept going..."
But, really, seriously, I enjoyed reading this and I hope there's more. And so I feel that I might allow myself to dispense you with my aunty Mable's secret of keeping going, and it is this:
'Rise with the sun, and set with it too - keep these principles and wisdom will follow too.'
'..Oh, and in the bit in between, drink sixteen cups of coffee, take plenty of valium and smack yourself about the head for a bit with a large piece of wood. Then, when you sit down to write, some kind of errant b******* is bound to come out, and you know, readers might pay for the stuff one day'.
Wise words, there, I am sure you will agree.

I enjoyed reading it too!
...although I think I'd suggest a couple of or possibly rather than hitting yourself about the head - if you have many enough than your writing will appear brilliant, at least to yourself!

I liked it too. It had energy. And it mentioned penguins (I'd like to see the sketches). I was however slightly disappointed to find it didn't include the reviews I had vaguely expected from your title.
All in all, a good start, promising well

Gaagh! I wasn't expecting this to appear until next week. This means I'll have to finish the next one off on the train home and I'm never as coherent as I may want on a Friday evening.
However, I do like the idea of beer reviews, so, if I actually remember past work today, next week may well feature a section on which ales are the best to get you into this state of mind.
