Hi there! I think this is a good start to an entry, but I have a few comments for you --
First off, using the really large, bold font like that actually makes the entry quite a bit more difficult to read, especially for those of us with relatively small screens. You're better off using the standard font size -- if the entry is accepted into the Edited Guide, that's what they'd insist on anyway.
Second, there were large chunks of this that just really didn't make much sense to me. It's important in entries for the Edited Guide to think about who your audience is -- here, your audience is people who aren't necessarily familiar with theology, philosophy, or linguistics.
Third, entries for the Edited Guide aren't supposed to use first person (I, we, my) -- if you want more information, check out the Writing-Guidelines.
Fourth, all the comments about Jane and sex may serve as examples, but seem rather out of place in an entry about religious language. They don't quite fit the tone of the rest of the entry.
Just my
Mikey

It looks like the author has elvised, last posting about a month ago (on the 19th of May), so I propose a move to the flea market.
