Here are a few drinks to drown your sorrows with.
There has been some sunshine but not a lot, the clouds look rather surreal looking, but I was out wearing my sunglasses.
I hope your neice will do well on her Law course.

Thank you for the , you're most kind - snapped me out of my sorrowful mood !!!
To wear your shades: it would have been nice and sunny most of the day. Were you referring to the formation of the clouds? If that is so, I have seen some weird formations too.
We are playing the Aussies at Lord's today - might need a few more s. Hope you're not bored with all the sport I rattle on about.
Madame, how was your Monday? Absolutely hate Mondays, like everyone else I suppose.
Please drop in for a drink if time permits.

There were some strange looking formations of clouds that I saw on Friday and it looked quite alien as well as though they were from another .
I am not bored about talking about sport. I heard that we were beaten by the Dutch in cricket. I never knew that the Ductch played cricket, but I have been told that cricket is a Dutch invention.
Here are some
I think I will have a few glasses of port

Hi Katrina,
Enjoying the s, thanks, got some glasses of for you too.
Sri Lanka performed superbly well to beat the Aussies at Trent Bridge (not Lord's as I mentioned earlier). We now advance to the next stage. England too are in the second round after their earlier hiccup.
By the way, I never knew cricket originated in the Netherlands. Maybe, being a former colony of the Dutch, we were introduced to cricket well before Australia and other cricket playing nations. This must explain our recent victories.
Looked at your latest weather report - it seems to be a gloomy and cold day. Isn't it unusual for this time of year?
Hope you had a lovely day. I'll be up watching the matches till late, 01:30hrs (Thursday) SLT, shall try to catch you for a drink.
Best Regards,
DS

Hi Sd.Ha
Please can I have a few more glasses of port .
Whenever there is cricket and tennis going on there is always bad weather. In the UK the weather is not the same every year, so it is very hard to gage what is normal uk weather. But apart from the cricket at Trent Bridge, there is the tennis at Queens in London which seems to always be precepted by wet weather.
Everytime I anyone talk about cricket, I think of the time I was hit in the ear when I was batting in cricket at the age of 12. The worst thing about it was not the pain but the embarresment at being caught out as I was getting in quite a few runs.
Thanks I have had a lovely but busy day, I hope your day was as good.

More port for you madame.
Thankfully your weather behaved, barely, for us to beat the West Indies yesterday. England have started badly today.
Did you injure yourself while batting that day? Hope you didn't give up the game because of that.
I've been working on a new project these days. The preliminary meetings are underway.
Just getting ready to watch your game with South Africa. I'm having SoCo & lemonade hope you're enjoying your port
All the very best,
Regards,

Thanks DS for the very lovely port .
The weather has perked a bit but, I still find it cold. My flat is cold as I don't get the sun even when it's sunny.
I hope that England's game will improve.
I did not injure myself except for my pride, looking back it was quite funny.<smiley.
Since I have got relatives in South Africa, my loyalites are mixed but I would like to see both teams do well.
Here are few SoCo and lemondade

The pleasure is mine ...... and, thank you for the refreshing SoCo-Lem s
South Africa is a strong team, I am sure England will bounce back.
Your unfortunate incident on the cricket pitch may have deprived the England Ladies Team a special talent !!!!!
About your apartment, can't you re-design to enhance brightness? You might need special permission.
Hope you are enjoying Friday night, thoroughly - may I offer you some s

I saw a clip of the women's cricket team on BBC's breakfast tv. Usually the women's team do better than the men's team.
In my volunteer shop, they way the brighten up the place is by having a good window display. They always have a theme, recently it has been the VD Day, and in the other window an African theme. When Father's Day comes around, they will be doing a special window display.
People come in look at the clothes to see what size they are even though it has a blue bauble with the number on it. I think it is because they think the size is a rough guide and then put it back int the wrong place.
I have noticed that Debenhmas are putting the sizes of clothes in the wrong order with the largest at front and the smallest at the back.
Thank you I am enjoying this Friday night and listening to my neighbour having laughing hysterically on thet telephone.
Thank you for the 's.

Hi Katrina,
Pure fresh Ceylon for you madame. It's 4.10pm here.
If you don't mind me saying, you have Monty Python-esque neighbours. Hope they do not upset you too much.
When in England I used to live in Hounslow (close to Heathrow). Are you familiar with that area? The Twickenham rugby grounds was also in close proximity.
Is there any reason for the shops, like Debenham's, to display clothes in the "wrong order"?
The England Women's cricket team are the current World Champions.
Please join me for a drink later in the evening, drinks are on me!!!

Hi Sd.Ha
Thanks for the very refreshing cup of pure freshing Ceylon .
My neighbours are truly and it is also effeting our local police as last night I thought it was part of my dream that I was talking to someone about the training establishment that I attend but it was growing louder; so I woke up to see flashing lights and opened the curtains to see a police car. I could not see where the voices were coming from but that it was so close that it must be coming from the flats where I live. It sounded like two people were talking and more people came along. It sounded it had to do with one of the residents of the flats becoming drunk.
I am very familiar with Twickerham cricket and rugby grounds but I have never visited them myself.
I think the reason that Debenhams puts clothes in the wrong order, is that people are getting bigger and those people like myself who are a smaller size or in the minority.
Congratulations for the Women's England cricket team for becoming the World champions.
I will join with in evening drinks, perhaps a cocktail or two
The Bar
SD HA Posted Jun 13, 2009
Good Evening Madame,
What cocktail would you like?
It is quite noticeable that people are getting bigger. I am around 6ft. and used to feel like a giant, not any more, most young guys are much taller than me now.
Murray is in the Aegon Championships finals against the american James Blake.

Good Evening Sd.Ha.
I would like to have Manhattan please.
I am the opposite and I am 5ft, so getting clothes fit me can be quite a nightmare.
I saw the final few mintues of the Murray tennis match, I was quite surprised it only went to 2 games. I am sure that it is usually 3 games, or have the rules changed?

I'll join, two Manhattans coming up.
Murray won the "Best of Three Set" match two sets to nil making the third set redundant. He meets Tommy Haas in the finlas.

Thanks for the two Manahattans
Thank you for the explanation about the tennis match being only two sets.
I saw an interview before the James Blake tennis match and they said that the tennis commentators expected James Blake to win.

I will have two more manhattans please,
Your prediction was very spot on, I just looked at the online results and a picture of Andy Murray with the cup.

Hi Katrina,
Two more Manhattans for you.
SL won today against Ireland. But, The Sri Lankan Women's tea, is getting a hiding at Somerset by your Ladies. The match is currently underway.
Hope your Sunday has been an enjoyable one.
Murray is playing brilliantly well - maybe he'll do well at Wimbledon.

Hi Sd.Ha
I hope our cricket team will do well.
My Sunday has been an enjoyable apart from my neigbour having the radio on loud for an hour or so. I hope your Sunday has been a good one.
I heard that the last time a British tennis player won Queen's was over 70 years ago.
I also think that there is another tennis tourament a Roehampton for people who want to qualify to play at Wimbledon.
I hope Andy will do well at Wimbledon.
