Yes, I will need help from Columbo, the fine upstanding American-Italian.
Both Morse and Columbo love classical music.

Thanks for the
I do not know, I tried looking on the Thurrock Gazette newspaper website, but it had nothing on it. It is a strange newspaper as it has very little news in it, it's a free newspaper and paid by adverts and there are some shps that also sell them. That is the only local newspaper as I live in the back-of-beyond (even the population of Thurrock has trabled since the late 80's, with new housing developments mostly flats, Chafford Hundred, the biggest housing estate, is over 5 miles long.

My pleasure ......
I checked out Thurrock on Google Earth, what a lovely and green place.
When studying in the UK my home base was in Hounslow. I remember a similar local paper was circulated, also free. Once, I responded to an advert and bought a Colour TV for next-to-nothing!!!!

Property development works are a real nuisance, I know, since that's my job. I see your interesting comments on my good friend Jim's thread. The stretch North of the Stanford-Le-Hope Bypass seems the ideal location for the - 5 miles long housing porject.

The north of Thurrock is more green, but the rural areas are very hard to get to by public transport. Chafford Hundred is getting bigger all the time and they are still building flats. We did have an A&E hospital in Orsett but that was down graded in the late 80's and now it is more like a health clinic as there are no words, the nearest A&E is in the next borough in Basildon, a 2 hour bus journey. They have being building houses in the grounds of Orsett hospital and surrounding areas.
Would you like to join me in an extra big King sized 1lb and an extra big King sized with salad, with various mustards, relishes and ketchups?
