I wish it to be made perfectly plain that, whilst the main body of this text could be the subject of a lengthy and expensive lawsuit, Yoda utterly refutes any suggestion that she was under the mistaken impression that the fish tank was an ashtray;
She honestly thought it was a toilet; all sorts of strange things happen in human toilets.

A simple mistake. Anyone could have made it.
I've seen some toilets that looked like ashtrays, so the reverse is easily imagined.
