I found the same thing, but luckily was lent it by a friend with a pre-printed walkthrough inside the box, indicating that it was so hard that they'd got fed up reading the next bit on the internet and just printed the thing out - about 7 pages of small text by the way.

Its so insanely difficult that they should have included the fact in their marketing, possibly with a small prize if you manage to finish it.

The game includes:
having to move dials and buttons to correct a piece of music so that a piece of the ship appears. The music sounds wrong even when its right, so you have to check every time you change anything.
Having to do random things that were never hinted in any conversation or text, so that you have to try everything with everything on the offchance that the millionth thing might do something.

If you are one of those people whose integrity refuses to allow you to read walkthroughs, you have my deepest sympathy.
And no, unfortunately i no longer have my copy of the walkthrough.
