A Conversation for TONGLEN - a Tibetan Buddhist technique to release the transformative power of compassion

I will try this!

I think I will visualise Tara within me, to absorb the black though. I read about this some time ago, but couldn't face it, so thank you for pointing me to it, it must be time to try!

Are you Buddhist? I love the teachings, although they are all superceeded by one word 'mindfulness'. When I started yoga last year at the Buddhist Centre in Croydon, it changed my life. I don't actually like the way that the FWBO practice it, so I don't go anymore, accept to buy books etc.

I combine the ideals of Buddhism with my paganism, it seems to work. I derive great comfort from all living things (except humans!), working by trees helps to heal me.

Anyway, thanks for the advice, you have given me some new ideas, I will let you know how it goes!
