A Conversation for Battlestar Galactica
Battlestar Galactica at the cinema

The original pilot movie for Battlestar Galactica got a cinema release in Europe at least, I saw it in Dublin around 1979. It was in Sensurround, and the whole place shook when one of the Cylon motherships was on the screen.
The movie was fairly obviously two episodes stuck together, the first being the Cylons destruction of the colonies, and the second which finished with Apollo and Starbuck tricking a cylon mothership into flying too close to an explosive planet.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
