I never understood why Brian's Song was called that. The only thing musical about the entire movie was Brian's last name was piccholo

The name rings a vague bell but it's not a film I instantly recognise. There is a history of badly named films - Krakatoa, West of Java (the island in question is actually closer to Java's east coast), Son of Dracula (no such individual appears), etc, etc...
