Doesn't seem to be quite ready smiley - erm. Comments, corrections and additions are welcome!

Well, I would suggest a title change. How about "Commutative and Non-commutative Spaces"? After all most of the article deals with the commutative variety.

Definitely for the Edited Guide this one. I speak as someone with knowledge of topology, but I'm pretty sure it's accessible to non-mathematicians. You drop into technical language occasionally (e.g. "pairwise"), but the general tone is good.

My biggest complaint is that it ends too soon. We just get into the non-commutative stuff and it ends. Could you manage another example or two and possibly a simple calculation?

I was about to drop into to say that this is excellent, and definatly ready for the Edited Guide. Though the suggestion of more details is a good one.

Thanks everyone! I'll make the changes momentarily (the title is definitely deceptive!).

I'll have to remove the link as well. Besides, I would like to include a few pictures, basically about the torus (to show how to construct one starting with a sheet of paper, and to make the two coordinates more visual) and possibly one of a Klein bottle. How could I make it?

I didn't know 'pairwise' was technical language smiley - ok.

Examples may become very soon quite technical; I wouldn't dare to go much into how to define points and lines and whatever in non-commutative spaces, as this becomes quite abstract ring theory.

What kind of calculations would you suggest I include?

Had a couple of smiley - ales at the moment, but I don't want to lose this thread.
